Magazine The Atlanta Lawyer ran an interview with Dr. LePort in its April/May 2023 issue on page 44-45. In the interview, Dr. LePort discussed what part of Dissection she found most difficult to write as well as what actors she would love to see play her characters if her book were ever turned into a movie.

Magazine Greet Corona Del Mar ran a profile of Dr. LePort in May 2023 after her first book, Dissection, hit the bestseller list. Meet Dr. LePort’s family and hear about her publishing journey, which by her own admission, involved hundreds of rejections before she found publishing success. The profile is on pages 24-27.

The Strand Magazine ran an article by Dr. LePort on May 19, 2023. In it, she cites the influence famed thriller writer Dr. Robin Cook had on her own work and what makes the medical world an ideal backdrop for thrillers.

On Feb. 10, 2023, Dr. LePort did an interview with the Ayn Rand Center in the UK. Dr. LePort discussed her midlife crisis as a doctor and how she was inspired by Ayn Rand’s book, The Life of Fiction.

The SA Examiner ran a review of Dissection on Nov. 30, 2022, titled “Book review: ‘Dissection’ by Cristina LePort, MD.” Reviewer Sandra Cruz lauds the authenticity of Dr. LePort’s medical scenes and the depth of her character development.

In an interview with School for Startups Radio on Nov. 11, 2022, Dr. LePort talks about how the terrifying medical technology in Dissection actually exists today.

On Oct. 27, 2022, Dr. LePort participated in the Newport Beach Public Library’s Meet the Author series. At her first official book signing, Dr. LePort discussed the challenges she faced in her author journey while offering encouragement to other aspiring writers.

CrimeReads published an article by Dr. LePort titled, “Doctors Who Write Thrillers: A Long Literary Tradition” on Oct. 20, 2022. She discusses some of her literary inspirations as well as books that have influenced in her.

Dr. LePort gave an interview on WGTD-FM in Wisconsin on Oct. 18, 2022. In the interview, she talks about Dissection and how her she evolved from a child who didn’t like writing to a published author.

Radio station WGVU-FM out of Grand Rapids, Michigan ran an interview with Dr. LePort on Oct. 14, 2022. In the interview, Dr. LePort discusses her challenges after immigrating to the US from Italy and tells stories of her medical career.

Writer’s Digest ran an interview with Dr. Leport on Sept. 19, 2022, titled, “Dr. Cristina LePort: On Writing the Medical Mystery.” In it,, she gives advice for aspiring writers and talks about her own publishing journey.

Just Reviews ran a review of Dissection on Sept. 12, 2022, titled “Dissection.” The reviewer notes Dr. LePort’s successful escalation of tension through several skillfully crafted and tense scenes.

Dr. LePort’s book Dissection was included in a roundup of the top  crime, mystery, and thriller titles of 2022 in an article “Legends of the Fall?” published on Sept. 5, 2022.

Radio host May Jane Popp interviewed Dr. LePort on KAHI-AM & FM out of Sacramento, California. They discussed where Dr. LePort got her inspiration for Dissection, what led her to switch from cardiology to internal medicine, and more.
